Our Art Project Was Featured in DNAinfo! – “My Street, My Voice, Our Story”

The art project we have been working on alongside artist in residence Cecil McDonald Jr. was featured in DNAinfo last week!

Students from Manierre Elementary, Catherine Cook, and Franklin Fine Arts got together to fly the kites they had created as an embodiment of their personal stories. Check out the write up from a reporter that was at the big kite flying event last week!
