Separated by perplexing barriers. Created in three diverse environments, this art weaves a thread through students\u2019 experiences. How are we the same? What do we all hold dear? What do we all believe in? At the same time it highlights how diverse and incongruent each child and school\u2019s worlds really are.<\/p>\n<h2>Poetry<\/h2>\n<p>Students wrote poetry about their experience of this neighborhood and their hopes for the future with poet &amp; artist Kwabena Foli<\/p>\n<h2>Tableaux<\/h2>\n<p>Actor and director Andrew White lead the students in thinking through their experiences through a tableau &#8211; still images made by actors to represent a scene.<\/p>\n<h2>Photography<\/h2>\n<p>Students brainstormed the final tableaux and these were photographed by Cecil McDonald.
