Kwabena Foli

kwabena foli is a multidisciplinary artist born in Belgium but raised in South Side Chicago. He is the author of the visual poetry collection learning rhythm. Other current and forthcoming publications include The Los Angeles Review, Mikrokosmos Journal, Meridian, Crab Orchard Review, Salt Hill Journal and elsewhere. His work is also anthologized in Revise the Psalm: Work Celebrating the Writing of Gwendolyn Brooks from Curbside Press. His visual showings include Fredericks & Mae’s, Chicago Artist Coalition, University of Illinois and elsewhere. He resides in Chicago.
